知乎前面寫過好幾篇關於英文詞典的文章：姑蘇小王：對於英語學習，當下流行的詞典，你會使用嗎？；姑蘇小王：The Oxford English Dictionary （OED）牛津英語詞典；姑蘇小王：再談The Oxford English Dictionary與Additions Series；姑蘇小王：國內外外國語詞典全集暢談——詞典篇，今天主要想繼續談論的是，繼上面這些文章後，自己更新的有趣詞典與詞匯方面的暢談，這次應該是自己收藏與使用世界上出版相對最全且最新的詞典了。
寫這篇文章主要是前幾天看了一篇文章，關於OED（【牛津英語大詞典】）官網2024年收入關於日本文化的英文詞匯，許多詞匯都是我們耳熟能詳的日文，如今演變成了英文詞匯，例句也是很貼切生活。
關於「santoku 三德」，我2021年購買過這把三德菜刀（santoku knife），特別好用，這幾年每天做飯切菜、肉、魚等等都是用的這把菜刀，當然一把好的菜刀也是愛好做美食者的最愛。
豚骨拉面（Tonkotsu ramen）還是挺好吃的，許多人都吃過。
言歸正傳，談今天詞典話題。
以前林語堂先生早年寫過一篇大家都熟悉的文章【我所得益的一部英文字典】，是關於「Concise Oxford Dictionary」與「Pocket Oxford Dictionary」（【簡明牛津英文字典】和【袖珍牛津英文字典】）.先生當年使用的【袖珍牛津英文字典】是1924年版本，關於他所列「young」的用法也是詞典中的例證。
詞典的好壞不在於收詞多少，而是裏面的例證，關於小詞的各種用法，這是關鍵，我們從學習一個小詞開始，學習例證中的用法，然後把這些靈活變為自己腦海中的句子，這才是學到了東西，久而久之掌握了這門有趣的語言。
我自己至今收藏最全的英文詞典與之相關辭書這是我所喜愛的，這與我收藏的外文書籍是一樣的，畢竟詞典許多朋友都談過其用法以及分類，但是談論歸談論，如果所談論的每一類詞典自己都能一一翻閱過內容，那收獲又是不一樣的，就像是說自己擁有的東西，同時也是自己興趣愛好，那感覺是與看到而沒有獲得所不一樣的。正如那句諺語所說："A bird in the hand is worth two in the brush"（雙鳥在林不如一鳥在手）.

以上便是自己這些年收藏的英文詞典，開始那些是世界一流詞典以及最新版本，後面一些如牛津詞典系列會與前面有些重復，盡可忽略。詞典的使用大家必須得配幾本紙質版本，如學習詞典與本土詞典，這是很有幫助的，高畫質電子版本只是方便攜帶，手機或者電腦以及iPad皆可以隨時隨地開啟翻閱與查詢，亦可以復制與搜尋，給外語學習帶來便利。
詞典給人帶來的樂趣還是挺多的，不光光是詞匯，主要還是每個詞匯的詞條用法，例證，這些在不同詞典裏面羅列都是各有特色，對比學習效果更佳。希望熱愛語言的書友朋友們可以選幾本自己喜歡的詞典，對於閱讀外文書籍亦或寫作與考試都會有大的幫助。勤查詢，多使用，這樣勝於無數老師，外語學習在沒有環境的條件下，詞典就是老師，就是給我們創造了學習氛圍，當然得是原版詞典，得閱讀英文釋義，這樣的效果是很愜意的。

Danae A Poem （【達娜厄】），有關希臘神話達娜厄的故事，是一首英文敘事長詩，Thomas Sturge Moore所創作。
作為一個愛書的人，從2017年至今收藏、整理與分類8665冊外文書籍（340.68G），自己紙質版本不算在內，個人心情充滿了喜怒哀樂，不過確實感謝這些精挑細選之書的陪伴，自己也不會感到無聊，亦有許多書友朋友與我交流溝通，這也是不錯的。須知參差多型乃是生活的本源。
